Successful commodity team leader contributing towards 400% volume growth in 7 years as well as introducing more than 25 new products. This team currently manages purchases exceeding $20 million annually and is a strong contributor to the corporation's strategic commodity management worldwide.

Direct efforts have resulted in reduced field and in-process failure rates of 73% and 72%, respectively, over a 5-year period. In this same time frame, cost has been reduced 64%, development time 67%, and lead times have been shortened 67%.

Special projects successfully completed include: development and implementation of a strife test program (1994); led effort to re-engineer corporate wide supplier quality metrics (1993 1994); represented division at corporate procurement strategy board; team leader for marketing and buying decisions for high volume entry level workstation; developed guidelines for establishing quality and reliability goals for new products (1993).

Work closely with suppliers during the development phase to ensure functionality goals are met and that quality and reliability are assured. Worked closely with R&D ensuring that new designs were optimized for volume manufacturing. Coordinated prototype and pre-production builds. Developed manufacturing plans and procedures. Led effort to transition products into volume manufacturing.
