Low Vision Services & The Vocational Rehabilitation Process

Low vision (LV) services like AT services are an integral part of the VR process. LV services assist the individual in better utilizing and optimizing their remaining vision through the use of magnifiers, lighting, and various LV aides. All the same factors are considered when conducting AT or LV services. The significant difference being the type of technology recommended. AT being more high tech while LV being more low tech. LV services may also be part of a job site evaluation.
