American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) was signed into law by President Obama on February 17, 2009.
It is an unprecedented effort to jumpstart our economy, create or save millions of jobs, and put a down payment on addressing long-neglected challenges so our country can thrive in the 21st century.
DSB's Implementation of the Recovery Act
- DSB's ARRA Plan describes our general implementation and focus priorities in the Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) and Independent Living (IL) Programs. The Recovery Act Plan is a fluid document that will be revised as projects and initiatives are developed and implemented.
- DSB's ARRA Plan focuses on creating jobs, saving jobs, building service delivery capacity and infrastructure.
- DSB has received public and stakeholder input on projects or initiatives that are focused on our Recovery goals.
