On-Site Evaluations

Job site evaluations are conducted as part of the VR/AT process. AT specialists also work directly with employers, on a fee for service basis, to determine technology needs and address other important issues prior to hiring a new employee or in retaining a current employee.

An on site evaluation looks at the essential functions of the job, the adaptive technology and reasonable accommodations required to enable the essential functions to be performed, and the ability of the employee to use the adaptive technology to perform the essential functions.

In both cases, all parties team on all aspects of the job site evaluation.
